We love it because it is hard, and, equally so, because it is rewarding.

R. W. Clark Company is a full service, family owned, construction company based in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 1981, our first project was building a steel play structure at a school in Cleveland Heights. Since then, we have expanded to work in all fields of commercial, institutional, industrial, multifamily and retail construction. One of the pillars of our business has been working on and within historical  structures. Whether it be a registered landmark or just an old one, there are not many antiquated building systems that we haven't had the pleasure of meeting.

Our company is organized into two primary divisions: General Contracting and what we lovingly refer to as "The Shop". The Shop originated in the late 80's to serve the vacancy in our region for firms providing historic window restoration and replication services. That work is still one of the primary tasks that we do in our shop, but it is not the only one. Our tooling and personnel has expanded to allow us to provide, in house, all manners of wood and metal restoration, as well as many of the unique millwork needs of our customers.

Every construction project can be a complex and difficult act of logistics that needs to both execute a vision as well as accommodate the rest of the facilities occupants simultaneously. Also, for many organizations, the process of construction is new to them and it can be difficult to know where to begin. We are here to help facility owners through this process. This is what we do every day. One of our most important functions on a project is to work with every member of the project team (owner, occupants, consultants and subcontractors) to facilitate a the process from conception to completion, always keeping the project on-task, on-schedule and on-budget.
